Merch Item of the Day: Jemaine’s Head
Welcome to my first installment of “Merch Item of the Day” on Conchord Crazy. This piece of merch comes to you from their HBO website, so it’s super awesome official and all that good schtuff. The idea for this shirt actually came from the fourth episode, “Yoko,” where Bret has a girlfriend named Coco. She comes up with an idea for a FOTC poster that is decidedly hip, but Jemaine doesn’t go for it. He insists that he already made a poster for the group, so they don’t need another one. The design he came up is featured on this shirt, obviously decidedly unbiased. Right. This is a great shirt for you ladies out there that have crushes on Jemaine Clement, or just think he’s the better of the two. For fans like me, who are bigger fans of Bret, this t-shirt is a slap to the face, but no worries, we’ll live. All we need is a tiger shirt and we’re all set.

I mean, you could always cut out the middle and DIY stitch it on to another shirt. That would be truly innovative and a great tribute to the awesome fashions of FOTC anyway. It may be worth it to have this hilarity on your person by whatever means possible. I will post on multi-size shirts later, no doubt, but I just loved this one too much to let something like size get in the way of its mention.
