New Zealand Week: New Zealand’s Coat of Arms….”Onward!”

Okay, so, I know, maybe kind of a lame intro to New Zealand week, but I don’t know, there’s something kinda cool about a coat of arms, don’t you think? Anyway, with the 15 minutes of battery power I have left, I will try to explain it to you…
So, on the left is a European woman. She is holding the flag of New Zealand. On the right is a Maori tribesman…holding….a weapon. He is what they call a “sinister supporter.” Doesn’t sound too good, hey?
The three ships on the crest signify the importance of sea trade. The farming and agricultural industries are also represented by the sheep and that, hay stuff. And, as my computer’s going to die, I’m gonna end on that note.
