About Sammi
Sammi is a sophomore college student in Indiana, majoring in Music Business, and aspiring to eventually devote her life to writing, so if SPIN magazine is reading this, she wants to write for you. Look her up.
She has been writing 52 Bands since July of 2007 and has started 2008 off with her new Flight of the Conchords blog. Although her free time has now come down to writing for both of these blogs, she couldn’t be happier to be able to talk about her biggest passion.
Besides writing for b5media, Sammi has written for zines in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is currently working on a book for the month of January. She plays the oboe, piano, english horn, flute, and sings. She has been in musicals and plays since high school, most recently in The Vagina Monologues on her campus, and has also acted in
a short film, Confession Stand, that premiered on December 30, 2007.
When she isn’t doing music-related or writing-related activities, Sammi enjoys shopping, going to parties, spending time with friends and family, hiking, camping, reading, watching the “boob tube,” and taking in anything the media has to offer.
