I realize that choices are harder for some people than others. I’m definitely one of those people. If you’re ever clothes shopping with me, you have my pity.  It takes forever for me to pick between two surprisingly similar pink shirts, or something along those lines. Heaven forbid I’d ever have to choose between two guys that I was in love with. This said, I sympathize with Mel in her situation. In this podcast, she weighs if she’d be able to pick between Bret and Jemaine. Do we get an answer by the end of the vlog? I guess you’ll have to watch it and see. Just keep in mind, the situation ends up involving a bus full of kids, the cure for AIDS, and a gun.

Well, isn’t this just perfect? This is the blog that Mel did about the LotR video that the duo shot in the park. She’s dressed up as Arwen and you get to see the before and after of her time with the guys. Doug is the one who is videotaping. She also speaks Elvish during the vlog and talks about her resemblance to Liv Tyler. I know, now that I mentioned it you can totally see it, can’t you? You can’t? Hmm.

Afterwards, Mel is on a total performance high, and she talks about needing to be free, as she runs away from the camera, the car, and her husband, Doug. Oh, what a magic moment. (Oh, and don’t you love Legos? I do.)

This podcast is one of my favorites, kind of a “How Did We Get Here?” type of dealio thingamajig….I think you know what I’m trying to say. Anyway, listen as the duo recaps how they got from New Zealand to America in 20 easy steps or so. It really didn’t take as long as you might think (and I’m sure Bret playing Figwit helped the cause, eh? ) So yeah, listen to this podcast, It’s a Kiwi Thing.

What a great start to a vlog. This is one of my favorites of Mel’s Video blogs, and since I haven’t talked about them yet, I thought I’d mention this one first. Mel wakes up from a dream and starts talking about how she had a dream where terrorists took her to a massage parlor and she was really scared, and then Bret and Jemaine bust through the door and defend their sole right to massage her. Mmmm yummy, good times.

Speaking of yummy, she mentions jello shots and a mini orgy with the jello and the rubbing and all that. Wow. That’s all I really have to say about that.

This is my boyfriend’s favorite song, by far, from FotC, so I had to give props to it eventually, right? His favorite part is the binary solo, however, which they don’t feature until the ending credits on the first episode, so you don’t get to see that with his podcast, but at least you get the gist, that these boys do not look like Daft Punk, sad as it is. Regardless, enjoy watching this song, and reveling in the fact that the humans are dead and robots rule the world. Maybe do the Robot Boogie afterwards. Sound like a plan?

This is probably one of the more hilarious podcasts available on iTunes, so def give it a download. It’s only a minute long, too, but worth every second, seriously. The duo is sitting on a couch, talking about the show, kind of an introduction to the first season, and Jemaine demonstrates how he goes in and out of character, and let me tell you, it’s quite a difference. Bret also asks that you don’t come up to him on the street and expect him to be like his character, although it’s based on him and it’s his…name. But yeah, good times, funny as always, great short podcast, and worth a chuckle if you think you’ve seen all there is to see about FotC, but don’t have the iTunes subscription yet, which you really have no excuse for, ’cause it’s free.

Alright, it’s the wrong day, but I’m catching up. Here is an introductory podcast about FotC and the music that they play on their show. They feature clips from songs like “The Most Beautiful Girl,” “Inner City Pressure,” and “Robots.”

Other things featured: Different percussion instruments, “New Zealand likes to rock the party,” and one fantastic buildup. It’s a little corny, noted, but it’s also lots o’ fun and a great little tidbit on the kind of things you’ll hear if you watch the show. If you haven’t already, maybe this will be what finally convinces you? I am determined to catch each and every one of you if it kills me! So, this is a really small podcast, and a clip from the first episode with the duo’s fanbase, also known as Mel. It’s the first taste that everyone gets into finding out just how disturbing she is.

The podcast opens with her coming out from a stairwell next door to Bret and Jemaine’s apartment, and when asked what she was doing there, she said….jogging. (Anyone hearing the “Psycho” music in the background?) Anyway, Mel really puts the fanatic in fan, also the crazy, and the obsessive, and the….well, you catch my drift. Check out this podcast, it’s heelarious. Oh, also, it’s an advertisement for the show itself, so you may have seen it on HBO early this summer if you are a big HBO watcher like I am….that is, when I can mooch off other people’s cable….poor college students do what they can.

My complaining aside, I hope you enjoy this podcast!
