No longer is the folk duo to be alone in this great episode, “Girlfriends.” And who’d have thought it would have started because Jemaine needed a wingman in his pursuit of a croissant? Anyway, the two walk into a bakery, see two lovely ladies, and start imagining in French….and technicolor….and 60s Laugh-In camp-ish style. Awesome.

I really really REALLY couldn’t resist this book. I really feel that it’s something that Bret and Jemaine need to help them see how they can flip the bird, and also that it in fact does not look like a bird, but it’s good old-fashioned American tradition, dangnabit! This is another excerpt from the first episode of  FotC, but it’s basically how every band meeting goes on the TV series. Murray takes roll call, although there are only three of him (yes, he checks himself as well), they talk about things like improving the fanbase (aka Mel), and sometimes about things like band merchandise, or possible shows, or what have you. This episode….honestly….a perfect example of how FotC hits issues, but in the most indirect, bizarre, innocent, hilarious way. Seriously, who thought they would run into a man that had a prejudice against New Zealanders? It is the ideal episode for talking about racism, but not offending that many people….except for those near that continent that nobody pays a lot of attention to…so like it matters, right?

Alright, kiddoes, sorry it took so long for me to deliver this one, but I really wanted to make it good.
